""....And I experienced a faintly familiar and distant feeling of holding my head up, as though God himself was gently lifting my chin to look toward Him. It was powerful. And it accomplished an infinitely greater transformation and restoration in me than the rebukes, the criticism, the indifference, and the loaded acceptance that seemed to sentence me to an eternity of being the lesser person.
"I felt God reaching His healing hand into my heart, with all my imperfections and shortcomings, my failures and shattered dreams, and telling me that I was still His and was worthy of love." Naomi Zacharais, The Scent of Water-Grace for Every Kind of Broken
So what is it that we do to one another, and to ourselves?
Do you know what is really in someone's heart?
Grace is so freely given to us.
Why is that hard to remember?
"No matter how I may feel, Christ is my righteousness. No matter how many doubts may arise, Christ is my righteousness. No matter how many accusations I hear from the devil during the day, I stand on this: God sees me as righteous in Christ!" David Wilkerson, World Challenge Pulpit Series, "Brokenness" April 2010
"My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such O God, You will not despise." Ps. 51:17 Oh thank You God, for that...

Ohhhhh! I love the little Sparrow. YOur pictures are a blessing. What template do you use? I am considering starting another blog just for photos :-) Lori
Lori-
Hi-thank you...
I use the advanced design so I can tweek. But the template is just the basic one. You can change everything about it-that's what I like. The widths, colors, fonts, borders...and the name 'advanced' sounds a lot scarier than it is-it's really very simple. It just means you can do all kinds of stuff. I reccommend it-it makes your blog really what you want it to look like.

Beautiful pictures as always. You have a God given talent and oh how thankful for the blessing you received this week. His Grace is sufficient for all our needs and because you are His daughter, you deserve all His blessings.
Love you, AE

These are some quotes from The Tree Of Life movie that I like.
The only way to be happy is to love. Unless you love, your life will flash by.
There are two ways through life - the way of nature and the way of grace. You have to choose which one you'll follow
Grace doesn't try to please itself. Accepts being slighted, forgotten, disliked. Accepts insults and injuries.
Nature only wants to please itself. Get others to please it too. Likes to lord it over them. To have its own way. It finds reasons to be unhappy when all the world is shining around it. And love is smiling through all things.
No one who loves the way of grace ever comes to a bad end
WOW~ wonderful words, sweet Debra...
And I love the picture of the chickadee on the handlebars. :)
