Mother robins sing softly to the babies in their eggs. I know this for a fact. We watched a nest on the ledge of our eye-lash windows one year. We heard the mother singing to her eggs as she looked down at them...

Things I have learned from animals...
- Ring-necked doves hoot in their sleep
- Geese like lullabyes
- Dogs like to smell lilacs and lily of the valley
- A dog can say "I love you"
- A goose can snore
- An abused animal can learn to trust again-be patient
- They know when you need comforting
- Having a goose on your lap is wonderful
- Being gentle is always right
- They don't care what you look like

Debra, you have a gift of saying so much in the fewest of words! Your pictures are so beautiful and telling. I just love the railroad tracks. It made me want to just walk and walk until there were no more tracks. He is a Faithful God, isn't He???? Why does it take a lifetime to learn that, anyways?????
Very good question!
The tracks are fairly close to our property. When I was a kid, my grandpa loved taking my brother and I for walks (very LONG ones) along the tracks near their home. So I have a real love of walking them-takes me way back-makes me want to sing hobo songs...
